Responsibilities

• Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to leadership while recommending further courses of action.
• Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
• Maintain the financial health of the organization.
• Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
• Develop trends and projections for the company finances.
• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
• Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
• Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.
• Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
• Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as a Financial Manager
• Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as financial analyst
• Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
• Proficient user of finance software
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations relevent to Sri Lanka
• BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus

Senior Business Analyst

Job description

·       Collaborate closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.

·       Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories, ensuring alignment with business objectives and constraints

·       Facilitate requirement elicitation sessions and conduct solution-scoping exercises.

·       Create comprehensive business requirement documents (SRS, BRS, User Stories, etc.).

·       Collaborate effectively such as technical and business teams to validate design feasibility and practicality.

·       Generate high-level scope documents and detailed design specifications, including business process flows, use cases and functionalities

·       Collaborate with architects and developers to design innovative and scalable technical solutions that address business requirement

·       Work closely with developers to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and provide ongoing support throughout the development process.

·       Deliver solution-proposing presentations to clients and conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for clients.

·       Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues, and solicit feedback to ensure alignment with expectations.

·       Address new and unique customer requests by devising innovative solutions.

·       Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables efficiently.

Required Experience

·       Minimum of 6 years of experience in the software industry.

·       Ability to independently learn and master a mature product.

·       Profound understanding of various business processes.

·       Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies.

·       Strong command of SQL, particularly in table and relationship management.

·       Proficiency in creating process flows and cross-functional diagrams.

·       Hands-on experience in developing Power BI dashboards.

·       Exceptional presentation skills, both verbal and visual.
